| Job Description/ Responsibilities | Prepare and manage the Company’s accounts and accounting system to ensure legal compliance, and that the Managing Director has accurate and up to date accounting and financial information at all times. Accurately prepare and issue all sales invoices and purchase orders.Prepare and produce monthly profit & loss, trial balance statements based on profit & loss Accounts and Balance sheet. • Produce monthly Management Information System reports. • Prepare and produce job costing and other cost analysis as required. • Prepare and issue all sales invoices • Prepare and issue all purchase orders • Closely monitor accounts receivable and constantly improve collection ensuring that Daily Sales Outstanding does not go beyond 60 days. • Maintain custody of and manage petty cash transactions. • Process timely payment to all suppliers local/International. • Calculate and process all payroll and final settlement transactions. • Liaise with auditors to provide all information and documentation required by them • Liaise with banks on all company trading accounts to ensure effective fund management and minimal bank charges, and produce the monthly bank reconciliation statement. • Monitor and record all stock movement and initiate re-order according to minimum balance numbers • Produce, analyze and report on monthly statistics of invoices issued, statistics of payments/ payables once in every month. • Complete a six-monthly analysis of supplier deliveries against orders to determine discrepancies. Documentation • Complete all required documentation and work within the ISO9001:2000 quality system Procedures. General • Any other duties as may be agreed from time to time with the Managing Director. This position has no direct reports. The incumbent communicates with internal employees and external clients and suppliers on a regular basis. The accuracy and integrity of such communications is of paramount importance. Reports directly to the Managing Director, or Commercial Manager and works within defined accounting policies, procedures and standards. Works in pleasant environmentally controlled offices 95% of the time. May be required to visit suppliers, clients and banks. |

| Profile | Working Knowledge of any ERP system, Tally and MS office, Age below 35, Major responsibilities are General accounting, Job Costing, Inventory Control, Working Capital Management, Variance analysis, Liaise .Highest level of personal integrity and standing. Graduate in Accounting or finance from an accredited university. Professional Accounting qualification required, CA, ACCA, or ICMA or equivalent.A minimum of 5 years prior experience in a computerised accounting system, preferably in a technical manufacturing environment. Highly Computer Literate and analytically focused. Analytical with focus on detail Ability to undertake independent analysis to assess the financial performance of the Business |
