Job Title: Audit Supervisor - Telecom Description: Experience Required Network: o Extensive Knowledge in PSTN & GSM Network o Knowledge of network elements - MSC/GMSC, IN-IVR, SMSC, STP, and HLR o Knowledge of Wireless, Planning and Engineering / Deployment o Network Operation Centre (NOC) functions o Traffic engineering, call routing analysis / optimization, traffic utilization of various routes, analysis of performance reports, analysis of SS7 link utilization o Knowledge of Comptel Mediation device, RBT, MMS, SCPC, SCPE and CPA services and mediation intelligence and rate plans in the billing systems. o Identifying risk and testing controls for strategy planning, network planning, teletraffic, dimensioning, network fault management and alarm resolution, network operations and maintenance, service life cycle, management, network utilization and cost/revenue analysis. o Knowledge of GPRS, MMS and WAP network elements Analyzing the SS7 traffic utilization report in the MSC-STP route and modifying the signaling links Interconnect: o Review Switch, Mediation, Billing, IN, TAPIN / TAPOUT and Interconnect. o Review of interconnection agreements o Conducting reconciliations vis-à-vis operator and interconnect partner invoices. o Identification of a bypass fraud scenario at the company. o Interconnect process for GSM / PSTN o Interconnect call scenarios o Billing systems for interconnect calls and national roaming calls o Analysis of various stages involved in Mobile Number Portability (MNP) activation along with conducting an analysis of MNP call scenarios and their pricing mechanism.
