Job Description/
Responsibilities
We are looking for Business Analysts for our Client, one of the leading banks in the Middle East. The position could be based either in Dubai in their IT subsidiary Company or be based in Doha.

The main responsibilities and accountabilities for the position are:

• To elicit, analyze, validate and document business requirements and/or operational requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.
• To liaise and work with project sponsor / project manager / Technology Project Manager / business users to identify the business/operational requirements / changes to requirements.
• Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements, specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those who must base their work on the requirements.
• Define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other non-functional requirements.
• Represent business requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, or scenarios, where appropriate.
• Lead business requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable, and that they conform to standards.
• Participate in requirements prioritization.
• Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents. Participate in peer reviews of work products derived from requirements specifications to ensure that the requirements were interpreted correctly.
• Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project.
• Manage changes to baseline requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools.
• Establish and implement effective requirements practices, including use and continuous improvement of a requirements process. Assist with the development of the organization’s requirements engineering policies, procedures, and tools.
• To interpret, evaluate and interrelate business data.
• To perform specified data analyses and studies as required for the projects / tasks assigned.
• To support planning and execution of various project related activities.
 
Candidate Requirement

Profile The ideal candidate would have:

• Minimum 6 years experience
• Knowledge of all banking products
• At least 4 years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a banking domain.
• Good oral, written communication skills, presentation skills and problem solving skills
• Analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of banking products and domain knowledge, to have credibility with user representatives and be able to work effectively with them
• Good knowledge of local banking regulations and operating procedures
• Adequate knowledge on Information Technology and office automation tools
• Experience on Islamic Banking would be an added advantage
