Job Description:
Our client is a leading multinational corporation that specialises in the manufacturing and distribution of high quality kitchen appliances. They are now seeking to appoint a Finance Director for their offices in Dubai (Jebel Ali).
Functions:
- Summary
- To effectively manage, develop and organise the finance department by ensuring human and capital resources are utilised and developed to optimum levels in order to meet the department and company objectives.

- Main tasks
- Development of the yearly business plan with responsibility for the formulation and consolidation of annual capital and operational budgets.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the internal IT systems (Navision ERP)
- Negotiating company investments and finance with financial entities.
- Treasury management and optimisation of cash flow.
- Preparation of P&L and balance sheet (BS) accounts. Directly reporting to the MD and the head office.
- To manage and supervise a team of 2 accountants plus 2 assistants.
- Responsible for commercial evaluation of tender returns and management of tax issues.
- Payments to various entities: general suppliers, shipyards, etc.
- Company payroll.
- Consistent, accurate and timely financial reporting and forecasts to the Managing Director.
- Responsible for the management, co-ordination and supervision of the administration department.
- Preparation and coordination of external audits and communication with external advisors.

Skills Required:
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a multinational environment
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business studies
- IT and computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft products and Navision ERP are a must)
- Strong organisational, numerical and analytical skills
- Proactive, with “a can” do attitude
- Residence in Dubai (or near abouts) and a clean driving license
