MANAGER BUSINESS PLANNING THE JOB: The position is responsible for corporate planning and financial management including co-ordination, analysis and presentation of the operating budgets. Oversee preparation of interim forecasts and activity based costing process as well as preparation of organization's financial statements and annual report in accordance with GAAP Monitor the budget and prepare analysis and regular variance reports for management. Supervise forecasting and monitoring of short term and long term liquidity needs. Ensure operational compliance with internal controls. Effectively communicate policies, programs and services and actively manage career development of direct reportees. THE CANDIDATE: Should have 5-8 years of related experience preferably in financial services industry with 2-3 years at managerial level, preferably in a multinational environment. Have knowledge of developments in budget and financial reporting and relevant legislation. Must have demonstrated capacity for service planning, problem solving, results orientation and creatively. Should be a ""qualified CA / ACCA / ICMA or Masters (Accounting, Finance or related faculty) with extensive working knowledge of GAAP. Highly developed oral, written communication and presentation skills. Superior facilitation and interpersonal skills. Preferably be below 37 years of age and willing to travel throughout the country. MANAGER TRAINING THE JOB: Responsible for managing the training & development activities of the Bank. Carry out training needs analysis in coordination with Functional Heads, develop, arrange and conduct training courses to cover orientation, product knowledge, sales and customer service, refreshers, computer literacy and supervisory and general management skills. Prepare training budgets and schedules, and coordinate with internal and external training facilitators for delivery of training. THE CANDIDATE: Preferably be a certified trainer with a masters or equivalent degree in social sciences / business discipline. Must have at least 5 years of training management experience including coordination, design & development of training activities and budgeting & costing of training programs. Possess exceptional presentation & communication skills, be able to work with people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds and be conversant with issues of rural development. Demonstrate training skills competencies, adult and distant learning techniques, presentation, discussion, facilitation and observation skills. Have Strong PC proficiency. Should be below 40 years of age and be able to manage the function independently. IT AUDITOR THE JOB: Responsible to provide IS audit services in accordance with IS auditing standards, guidelines and best practices to assist the bank in ensuring that its information technology and business systems are protected and controlled. Provide assurance that the bank has structure, policies, accountabilities, mechanisms and monitoring practices are in place to achieve the requirement of corporate governance of IT. Ensure that the management practices for the development / acquisition, testing, implementation, maintenance and disposal of the systems and infrastructure meet bank's objectives. Assure that the IT service management practices provide services required to meet the bank's objectives. The position is also responsible for the security architecture (policies, standards, procedures and controls), confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets. Review the business continuity and disaster recovery processes to timely submission of IT services, while minimizing the business impact. The incumbent will represent internal Audit on organizational project teams. THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate should be post graduate in computer sciences or equivalent with CIA/ CISA certification or a qualified ACA / ACCA / ACMA with CIA/ CISA certification. Should have at least 2-3 years IT Audit / compliance experience in an audit firm or in a large sized organization. Candidates with relevant experience in private banking sector will have an added advantage. The incumbent must have good analytical, interpersonal, communication, presentation and report writing skills. Preferably be below 35 years of age. Must be highly proficient in PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, presentation applications and inclined towards working in a technology-driven environment. Knowledge of financial/banking systems will be an added advantage. Be able to work independently under the general guidelines. The position involves extensive traveling across Pakistan. SENIOR AUDITOR / AUDITOR THE JOB: Responsible to supervise and perform audit reviews within bank's branch network as well as functional departments & other business units in accordance with audit policy & manual, bank management's guidelines and generally accepted auditing standards. Scope encompasses performance & reporting of financial, operational and compliance audits and providing other review / consulting services to bank management and staff as required. THE CANDIDATE: At least 1-3 years post qualification Audit/Accounts work experience in a large sized organization. Candidates with experience in private banking sector will have an added advantage. The incumbent must have good analytical, interpersonal, communication, presentation and report writing skills. The position involves extensive traveling across Pakistan. Be able to work independently under the general guidelines. Preferably be below 32 years of age, Qualified ACA/ACC A/AC MA/MBA (finance), or possess a Masters degree (Math / Finance) from a recognized institution with top quartile grades. Must be highly proficient in PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, presentation applications and inclined towards working in a technology-driven environment. Knowledge of financial/banking systems will be an added advantage. Part qualified can apply for Auditor's position. DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR THE JOB: Reporting to Business Systems Manager, this role will be responsible to design, install, monitor, maintain, and performance-tune production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability. Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing corporate database standards & policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and accompanying software. Ensure data load routines, support to developers, implementation of change control procedures, adequate back up procedures and provide support in the event of unexpected database problems. THE CANDIDATE: The incumbent should be a Masters in Computer Science with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices. Preferably have five years experience of managing large databases in financial institutions, thorough knowledge of database administration, database sizing, SQL scripting including database maintenance activities, performance monitoring and tuning of complex databases, replication configuration and monitoring. Possess hands-on experience with all or most of the database products that include Oracle 10g and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Should have excellent time management abilities, problem-solving and communication skills. Should be a good team player, willing to learn and share information. Experience with one or more data modeling tools such as Erwin will be considered a plus. Preferably be below 30 years of age. All the above positions are based at Islamabad.
