CAREER OPPORTUNITIES Established in 1975, the Beaconhouse Group has grown into a large network of private schools with over 370 branches, providing quality education to 147,000 students. Beaconhouse is currently looking for the following professionals: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER The candidate will report to the Regional Director and will be responsible for all business development activities in the region, both in looking for new opportunities and expansion in the existing setup. The person will ensure that targets for the region are met and will be extensively involved in preparing forecasts for the region, developing feasibility studies for new expansion and ensuring that new expansion creates greater value for stakeholders. PROFILE - The candidate should have an MBA from a good local or foreign university/CA/CFA/ACCMA or equivalent education and at least 4 to 5 years of experience in a business development capacity with a good corporation or a financial institution. S/he must have an understanding of local economic conditions, and should be an avid reader with an inclination towards qualitative and quantitative research. Excellent presentation and communication skills with strong analytical abilities are required with a can-do attitude and the ability to think out of the box. The selected person may be requested to appear in GMAT or GRE in case s/he hasn't taken the exam in the last five years. Vacancies and locations - 1 position each in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. Assistant MANAGER, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS The candidate will report to the Regional Director and be responsible for internal as well as external company communications. S/he will coordinate with the Head Office for the Beaconhouse online magazine - The Beaconhouse Times and other publications like the school prospectus etc in order to ensure effective flow of corporate communications. Profile - The candidate should have an MBA or equivalent qualification and 2 to 3 years of experience with a good corporation in Pakistan or abroad in a marketing or communications department. Working knowledge of computer packages like Adobe etc is not mandatory but would be an added advantage. Must have good communication (especially written) and presentation skills.
