National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) is engaged in promoting human development in Pakistan by improving primary education, adult literacy, primary health care services and capacity building of the government line departments. NCHD is currently working 120 districts of Pakistan, including FATA, FANA and Azad Jammu & Kashmir and is providing support to the government line departments at the district level for achieving Millennium Development Goals,

DISTRICT PROGRAM MANAGERS/DEPUTY DISTRICT PROGRAM MANAGERS (CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT)
These positions, based at districts Charsadda, Swabi, Bannu, Lower Dir, Nowshera and Haripur in NWFP; Rahim Yar Khan, Gujrat and Siaikot Punjab; Khairpur and Tharparkar in Sindh; Gawadar, Lasbela and Qillah Saifuilah in Balochistan call for dynamic professionals with a minimum of three to five years of experience of designing/implementing capacity building programs for district government departments (Health, Education & Community Development Departments), NGOs/CSOs and elected representatives having Masters degree in Sociology, Developed studies or similar fields. Government servants m BPS 17-18 having experience of trainings and exposure of Devolution plan, 2001 will be given preference.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To ensure effective implementation of Capacity Building program at the district level.

2. To establish liaison with and provide technical support to the target beneficiaries of the program.

3. To prepare reports for management on program activities in the district.

4. To assess training needs and develop, design and conduct training for capacity building of the staff and project partners/ stake holders, etc.

5. To achieve program targets and evaluate results for continuous staff improvements in delivery of the program.
