Responsibilities:

- Responsible for preventive mechanical maintenance of equipments, machines and tools, respectively and corrective actions.
- To undertake routine as well as preventive maintenance of machines etc. and updating the preventive mechanical maintenance record for all machines and equipments.
- Responsible for preparing indents and final inspection of spares, equipment received. Also supervision of inventory for mechanical equipments, fixtures & fittings installed in the plant.
- To furnish the monthly maintenance cost and taking necessary steps to reduce it. Evaluate and analyze abnormal / repeated rejections involving man, material and machines and plan for the improvements.
- To ensure enforcement of Health, Safety and Environment measures strictly.
- To complete mechanical maintenance process of machine by taking necessary steps in minimizing down time.
- To maintain different mechanical drawings of machines and monitor the installations from mechanical point of view for their correct positioning.
- To check and verify bills, payments, related to mechanical jobs of maintenance department.- Supervision & trouble shooting of mechanical jobs for the entire plant.
- To plan & execute innovations for the process / system as per requirement.
- To provide monthly consumption and advise for reduction in consumption.
- Preparing budget and planning / forecasting, the requirement of next financial year.
- To submit Daily / Monthly maintenance breakdown, overtime reports to Head of Department.
- To co-ordinate and liaise with other Departments & agencies for the smooth execution of jobs relating to all levels.
- To arrange training and to provide technical guidance to the technicians.
- To ensure the HSE measures are being followed strictly and to identify training requirement for HSE.
- To ensure mechanical maintenance of Generators.
