ESB INTERNATIONAL MAINTENANCE MANAGER UCH POWER PLANT — COMBINED CYCLE POWER PLANT Uch Power Station is a 586 MW CCGT in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. The plant consists of three GE 9E combustion turbine generators in combined cycle using three heat recovery steam generators and a steam turbine. The plant has been operated & maintained by the Facility Management Division of ESB International since it was commissioned in the year 2000. The company is looking for the services of an experienced, dynamic and energetic individual for the post of Maintenance Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The key responsibility is in fulfilling the requirements of the O&M contract and meeting the contractual obligations and commercial targets set for the plant. OTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: * Design and Implementation of maintenance policies including best practice preventative / predictive maintenance. * Optimizing the coordination of plant maintenance including shutdowns. * Managing plant betterment projects on behalf of the plant owners including civil works. * Continually improving the overall asset performance. * Dealing effectively with the OEM, statutory bodies, outside agencies and contractors. * Promoting & Fostering teamwork and empowering and developing maintenance teams to deliver optimum maintenance capability. * Liaise with other departments as required or directed in the best interests of the business. * Liaise with Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) contractors to manage unplanned events and annual overhauls. * Management of stores, optimization of parts holding & cataloguing. * Active participation in preparing Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) and maintenance budgets. JOB SPECIFICATION The successful candidate will be a team player and self-starter with the ability to multi-task and meeting deadlines. He will also have a demonstrable ability to communicate and relate effectively with staff at all levels in the organization. The Maintenance Manager will be Reporting to the Plant Manager, Uch Power Station. QUALIFICATION: B.E. (Minimum) or equivalent MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE The Maintenance Manager will be qualified to degree level in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent qualification. He / she will have considerable experience in power plant maintenance, in particular heavy plant & auxiliaries and in power plant technologies, systems and procedures. Control systems knowledge / capability, good safety, environmental & IT skills are desirable. The ability to lead a customer focused high performance team in a commercial environment will be essential. Experience in working in a CCGT plant, in Project Management and / or good planning skills.
