Job Description/ Responsibilities | 1. Manage and ensure continuous and effective function of all plant’s machinery, auxiliary equipment, utilities and building facilities, including establishment and implementation of Preventive Maintenance Plans in order to avoid sudden mechanical or electrical failures. 2. Manage and ensure effective operation of General Store, including purchasing functions and control of spare parts and related items in consideration of availability and costs. 3. Identify and manage necessary resources such as manpower, machines, materials including technicalities for effective operation and achievement of maintenance goals in high consideration of quality, efficiency and cost or agreed budget. 4. Implement total plant projects according to developed system and procedure including functional relation to MI Management for guidance, projects, policy implementation, R&D affairs and other relevant related matters. 5. Monitor measure and report on organizational development plans, goals and achievements within agreed formats and timescales. 6. Attend meetings and liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand and meet all necessary aspects and needs of operational development in relation with quality, maintenance, deliveries and other requirements. 7. Proactively raise and lead or collaborate to formulate corrective actions for any nonconformities and potential problems found in the department or any other area as related to quality of product or operations. 8. Communicate and lead subordinates or staffs on attainment of set policies, procedures, goals, company values such as teamwork spirit and other company programs including its continuous implementation. 9. Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training and carry out timely trainings, appraisals or evaluations of reporting personal in accordance with company policies, procedures and employment law. 10. Ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care including promoting safe behavior, confront any unsafe act and eliminating any unsafe condition. 11. Serve other departments or colleagues in a supplier-to-customer concept, thereby committed on meeting customer’s requirements and satisfactions internally and externally. 12. Act to the function of subordinates in the event of that post absence, unless the post is assigned accordingly. |
