We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Pakistani Nationals to fill the below positions at Hub Power Station. MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Job Specification: The successful candidate will work in the Engineering Department, reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager with the responsibility for maintenance, overhauls & project activities at the Power Station. He will be empowered to continuously improve the section's quality standards, ensuring compliance with the contractual requirements of the O&M Agreement and the obligation of applicable quality and environmental standards. The incumbent should be conversant with statutory regulations, manufacturing standards and codes relating to pressure vessels. Interpersonal skills, problem solving & decision making and an awareness of work management systems is desired. EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS: QUALIFICATION: * BE in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university * Registration with PEC EXPERIENCE POSITION 1 Having 3-5 years experience of rotating plant, steam turbines, power plant auxiliary equipment. The scope includes maintenance and overhauls of multi-stage pumps, air compressors & heat exchangers. Working knowledge of welding procedures and NDT methods form part of the work activities. Job & resource planning and performance assessment will be a function of this role. POSITION 2 Having 3-5 years working experience mainly with boilers & pressure vessels. Exposure to auxiliaries and other stationary mechanical equipment will be preferable. A first class boiler engineer certification from any competent authority will be considered an added advantage.
