| Job Description/ Responsibilities |
Preparation of HV substation layouts, single line diagrams, protection/ control key diagrams; provision of inputs and coordination for civil and building services design; electrical calculations for CT/VT parameters, earthing, cables, DC system, etc.; detail checking and review of all electrical drawings, schematics and technical documents from electrical equipment suppliers. |

| Profile | Good
technical knowledge of high voltage substation equipment and systems
including Gas Insulated Switchgear, power transformers, HV cables,
AC/DC equipment, protection, control; brief knowledge of civil and
building services design aspects important for overall coordination of
substation design. Minimum 5 years engineering/design experience in the field of high voltage substations; preferably with experience in projects in GCC countries. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. |
