Job Duties: |
1.
To carry out comprehensive research based analysis of policy questions,
project proposals and programme so as to draw sound conclusions for
informed-decisions making.
2. To represent Planning & Development Division in high-level meetings with Ministries and Provincial governments including meetings with Secretaries and Department Heads. 3. To organize and schedule the work which is under his/ her change and to supervise the work of subordinate officers, including their training on the job, and to enable them to pursue a career path. 4. To keep abreast of developments in the field and network with peers. |

Qualification/Experience required: |
(i) Second Class or Grade C Master Degree in Economics or equivalent qualification in Economics from a recognized University. (ii) Fifteen years experience in Economic Research, Development Economics, International Economics and other fields of Planning & Development. |

Note: |
Length
of experience shall be relaxable by four years in case of Ph.D. and two
years in case of M.Phil. The condition of length of experience shall
