Job Duties: |
1.
To analyze projects and schemes for inclusion in the national plan, and
to report on technical feasibilities, economic aspects, social values
and other relevant consideration.
2. To prepare studies as directed, of the needs of the country in the subject dealt with by his Section, and assist in formulating measures necessary to meet those requirements. 3. To supervise the work of, and guide Assistant Chief and Research Officers in reviewing development schemes, fixing priorities, preparing memoranda etc. 4. To evaluate the economic conditions and potentialities of the country in his own field, and making proposals relating to the policies of the Government. |

Qualification/Experience required: |
(i) Member ACMA (Associate Member of Institute of Cost and Management Accountants) or MBA with Finance Major or M.A. (Economics). (ii) Ten years experience in the relevant field with at least three years in Energy Sector at responsible position. |

Note: |
(i)
Experience relaxable by four years in case of Ph.D. and two years in
case of M.Phil in Economics where the minimum qualification prescribed
is Master Degree. (ii) Experience relaxable by five years in case of
FCMA/ CA or equivalent where the minimum qualification prescribed is
ACMA/ MBA. (iii) Experience can be further relaxed in addition to (i)
and (ii) above by one year in the outstanding cases as determined by
FPSC. (iv) Additional increments upto a maximum of six increments may
be allowed upon the recommendations of FPSC.
