To assist Legal Adviser in;
i. Opinion.
ii. Research.
iii. Codification.
iv. Legal matter of the Ministry.
v. Pursuance of court cases at various courts.

Qualification/Experience required:
(i) Law Degree from a recognized University. OR A post-graduate Degree in International Law with the subject of Law of Peace/ Laws of War and Neutrality and International Disputes/ Law relating to International Relations/ Private International Law. (ii) Twelve years experience in legal profession/ teaching law including at least three years experience of teaching in International Law at one of the recognized Universities or at least three years practical experience in International Organization/ International Litigation or as an adviser to the Government, Semi-Governmental or non-Government Organization on questions relating to International Law.

Note:

Both male and female candidates are eligible.

(i) Length of experience shall be relaxed by three years in case of Ph.D in Law and by two years in case of Master degree in Law or equivalent qualifications. (ii) Special training in International Law and/ or knowledge of French/ Spanish in addition to English shall be considered an additional qualification.
