Job Duties: |
1. Responsible for all matters related to Production of Night Vision Devices/ Optronis Systems.
2. To supervise the work of Optical Assembly, electo mechanical Assembly, Workshops, System Integration Quality Control and Logistic Support etc. 3. To prepare progress reports regarding Production of NVD. 4. Any other responsibility/ duty assigned by the DG(IOP). |

Qualification/Experience required: |
(i) Master Degree in Physics/ Applied Optics/ Applied Physics/ Laser Physics/ Electronics or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. OR Bachelor Degree in Electrical/ Electronics or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. (ii) Ten years post qualification experience in Research and Development/ Production/ Project Planning and Management/ Optronics in Govt./ Semi-Govt./ Private firm of repute. (iii) Research Publications and Technical Reports in standard journals preferable. |

Higher
academic qualifications/ standard preferred. Length of experience shall
be relaxable (a) by six years for Ph.D. in Engineering. (b) by fours

Engineering.
