Job Duties: |
1. Responsible for Research and Development (R&D) work in the field of Optronics.
2. To Co-ordinate the R & D work on projects in different discipline. 3. To supervise the scientific & Engineering staff on the progress of R&D work. 4. Any other responsibility/ duty assigned by the DG(IOP). |

Qualification/Experience required: |
(i) Master Degree in Physics/ Applied Optics/ Applied Physics/ Laser Physics/ Electronics or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. (ii) Ten years post qualification experience in Research and Development/ Production/ Project Planning and Management/ Optronics in Govt./ Semi-Govt./ Private firm of repute. (iii) Research Publications and Technical Reports in standard journals preferable. |
