Higher
Education Commission (HEC) requires the services of qualified and
experienced Pakistani Nationals for placement in various universities
as: (i) Coaches (male / female) in Athletics, Badminton, Basketball,
Boxing, Cricket, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Squash, Tennis, Table
Tennis, Volleyball & Wrestling to take up /supervise the training
assignments and student player development at various universities,
(ii) Head Coaches are also required in selective sports for specialized
work. The appointment will be on contract basis. COACHES: Above Mentioned Sports (Full Time) Academic Qualification: Intermediate from any recognized institution with professional qualification in the relevant sports minimum level I certificate. Coaching Experience: 5 Years at college, province or higher level in the respective event. Outstanding Sports Coaches having represented Pakistan at National/International level will be preferred. Age: Up to 50 Years. Salary: Maximum up to Rs.10,000/- per month (all inclusive) HEAD COACHES: Selective Sports (Full Time) Academic Qualification: Graduate from any recognized university with professional qualification in the relevant sports. Coaching Experience: professional qualification in the relevant sports. 10 years at National/International level, with level I or II Coaching Course in the specific sports. Age: Up to 55 Years. Salary: Maximum up to Rs.15,000/- per month (all inclusive) Application form may be downloaded from the HEC website www.hec.gov.pk/jobs and sent, alongwith attested photocopies of required documents and bank draft/ postal order of Rs.100/-in favour of the HEC. Last date for receipt of applications is 8-10-2007. Incomplete / late applications will not be entertained. Only eligible candidates will be called for test/interview. Selectee can be posted anywhere in Pakistan. HEC reserves the right to reject any or all the applications. It may also be noted that beside the salary, no other facility (like housing, conveyance allowance, telephone, medical etc.) will be admissible to the selected candidates.
