INSTITUTE OF SPACE TECHNOLOGY JOB OPPORTUNITIES Institute of Space Technology invites applications for Faculty / Research positions for the posts of Professors / Associate Professors / Assistant Professors / Lecturers from candidates / professionals having PhD / MS qualification in the following fields: - AEROSPACE/AERONAUTICAL/MECHANICAL ENGG SPECIALIZATION IN: * FEM/Structures * CFD/Fluid dynamics * Flight Control Systems/Navigation * Propulsion/Thermodynamics * Space Flight Dynamics/Orbital Mechanics ELECTRONICS/ELECTRICAL/COMMUNICATION ENGG SPECIALIZATION IN: * Communications * DSP/Embedded Systems * Antenna-RF/Microwave * Control Systems * Electronics SPACE SCIENCES SPECIALIZATION IN: * Remote Sensing and GIS * Geology * Geography * Agriculture * Hydrology * Urban Planning * Land Administration and related fields * Should have a proven record of extensively using RS/ GIS techniques in his/ her research work MATERIAL SCIENCE & ENGINEERING SPECIALIZATION IN: * Polymeric Materials * Composites (Conventional and Non Material based) * Ceramics Materials * Metals/Metallurgy * Nano-Materiais (Synthesis, Characterization and Application) * Materials theory and modeling * Surfaces and Interfaces COMPUTATIONAL MATHEMATICS SPECIALIZATION IN: * Mathematical modeling and simulation * Fluid Dynamics * Differential Equations * Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing * Probability Theory and Stochastic Analysis * Operations Research & Statistics * These posts are tenable in both tenure track system (see HEC website for details) and on contract. * Posts for 'Spaces Sciences' are for ISTs Karachi Campus, rest are Islamabad based. * 1ST offers attractive remuneration package/facilities.
