| AREA STUDY CENTRE FOR EUROPE AREA STUDY CENTRE FOR EUROPE UNIVERSITY OF KARACHI KARACHI EXPRESSION OF INTEREST IS REQUIRED Applications are invited for appointment as Professor (BPS-21) in the Area Study Centre for Europe, University of Karachi on the following terms and conditions: REQUIREMENTS: PROFESSOR: i) Ph.D. from an HEC recognized University / Institution in the relevant field. ii) 15 years teaching / research experience in HEC recognized university or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in a National or international Organization iii) 12 research publications (with at least 3 publications in last 5 years) in internationally abstracted journals recognized by the HEC. APPLICATION PROCEDURE: 1. Applications are required to be submitted on prescribed forms, obtainable from the office of the Deputy Register (Establishment, Teaching), University of Karachi on payment of Rs.250/- through Pay Order in favour of University of Karachi. 2. Six copies of application together with a Pay Order of Rs.400/- in favour of University of Karachi, photocopy of degree / diplomas/ certificates, experience certificates and reprints of publication, it any, must reach the Registrar, University of Karachi, University Road, Karachi -75270, Pakistan on or before April 25, 2008. The last date for receipt of applications in case of Pakistani National serving / residing abroad is April 30, 2008. 3. Candidates already in Government, Semi-Government and Autonomous Organizations in Pakistan must apply through proper channel. 4. Candidates requesting application forms by post must send a pay order of Rs300/- within Pakistan and Rs.600/- or equivalent from outside Pakistan drawn in favour of Registrar, University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan along with their written request. 5. The number of posts shall be considered according to the available positions at the time of Selection. The University also reserves the right to cancel the post advertised above without assigning any reason. | ||||||||
