Job Description:

ASK Development, in collaboration with some well reputed Development sector organizations is initiating a Four (4) month Youth training and apprenticeship project. The purpose is to find and equip the youth along with career counseling, from FATA and Frontier regions of NWFP (Under Developed Regions) and assist them in getting Apprenticeship and Internship. Background: S/he will be over all responsible of the identification of the applicants for placing them on apprenticeship/internship with industries and organizations of public and private sector

Job Responsibilities:

- He/She will assist the Placement officers in preparing the data, taking appointments from organizations well in time, keeping record of the identified youth, organizations and the focal person at the organizations,

- Research in preparing the data of youth & the organizations; provide support to the Placement officers.

- He/She will be responsible for development of monitoring tools including pre- and post assessment tools.

- He/She will ensure quality of identification process of youth, training contents, training delivery and quality of internship placement.

- He/She will be also keeping track of targets of training verses placement at cluster level.

- He/She will also develop databases and its management.

- Assist Placement Officer in the implementation of baseline surveys, monitoring and evaluation exercises for programs/projects and impact assessments.

Qualifications and Experience:

The potential candidate must possess a bachelor degree in management or social sciences with 2-3 years of work experience in public sector with demonstrated experience in placement and recruitment.

Reports to: Project Coordinator

Duty Station: Islamabad

Travel Required: Moderate Travel

Project Duration: 4 Months (Extendable)

Minimum Experience: 2-3 years

Minimum Qualification: Graduate

Skills Required

Skills and knowledge:

The candidate must possess good communication, research, interpersonal, filing and Data compilation skills.
