1. Complies with Joint Commission International (JCI), American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), and College of American Pathologist (CAP) and National Guard Laboratory standards are maintained and continuously improved.

2. Provides diagnostic and consultative services to physicians and patients in accordance with privileges granted.

3. Assists in test selection methodology and clinical relevance and pursues safe and current medical practice in area of expertise.

4. Activities participate in training programs for staff, medical technology students, interns, residents and participates in continuing education for staff physicians.

5. Serves on National Hospital and Departmental committees as assigned.

6. Actively participates in maintaining and furthering quality improvement.

7. Encourages and participates in approved research activities.

8. Performs other job related duties as assigned by the Chairman.

1. Graduation from a accredited medical school. Successful completed appropriate internship and residency requirement in hematological pathology. Hold current certification by the American Board in hematological pathalogy or agreed equivalent with appropriate licensure to practice.

2. Should have at least 2 years experience in a CAP accredited Laboratory after Board Certification. This may include subspecialty training.

3. Fluent in English Communication, Arabic Language is added advantage.

4. Computer Skills are intermediate level.
