VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India.VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for AIX- DB2 Administrator for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and c conditions:Skill Set required:Skills Senior level of AIX/DB2 Platform with minimum 5 years experience
• Administration of HW/OS/DB/SAN/LAN/Etc.
• Administration of patches, hot fixes, EHCP
• Support for technical problems and issues
• Performance monitoring and improvement
• Backup, spooling, printing
• High Availability operations
• Installation and configurations of all technical architectures
• System Administration of technical infrastructure
• Technical innovation management
• Recommend continuous improvement for all aspects above
• Additional experience of SQL Server a plusQualification:
• Bachelor or Master degree in IT or related field
• Must have good spoken and written communication skills in English
• Certifications in the AIX/DB2 is a plus
• References of previous employers
