Finding right Jobs:

This position requires at least 8 years of experience working in application development, with at least 4 years of management experience in a related IT function.

The systems environment is Microsoft-based (Visual Studio, .Net, SQL Server, IIS), with some legacy open-source systems.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise with Microsoft development technologies in addition to have some experience with open-source development.

This position also requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

** Responsibilities:

* Provide management and leadership for Application Development and Quality Assurance teams

* Works with internal and external stakeholders to provide consultation and oversight

* Staff project teams and work with Project Management Office to ensure scope and timelines are met

* Act as a key process owner over development, test and release functions

* Act as an internal consultant for key client concerns and internal user interests

* Pro-actively manages development of the client’s technology architecture

* Provides support and direction to Quality Assurance team

* Measure and act upon Key Performance Indicators to ensure that internal and external SLA’s are met

* Expertise with Microsoft Visual Studio, C#/.Net and SQL Server

* Ability to lead technology professionals in a rapidly-changing business environment

* Ability to set long-term goals and develop plans to overcome obstacles and meet those goals

* Ability to manage and effectively utilize any and all technology systems employed by the clients

* Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, communicate clearly and to work with a variety of teams Additional

** Preferences:

* Microsoft certification

* Experience working with Linux/PHP development

* E-commerce experience

* Web-to-Print and/or print production experience
