INFORMATION SYSTEMS VACANCIES
Chief Information/Technology Officer 
Contributes to general business planning regarding technology and systems required to maintain company operations and competitiveness. Recognizes new developments in information systems technology, and anticipates organizational modifications. Establishes long-term needs for information systems, and plans strategy for developing systems and acquiring hardware to meet application needs. Ensures confidentiality and reliability of corporate data, proprietary information, and intellectual property. Functions as top level contact to assist end users in determining IS requirements and solutions. May report to the Chief Operating Officer in large corporations and the Chief Executive Officer in medium sized organizations. Requires an MIS degree and 10 or more years of experience.

Computer Operations Manager 
Manages all activities related to the operations and maintenance of mainframe computer and peripheral equipment. Analyzes usage patterns and establishes schedules and procedures for maximum utilization of the system. Coordinates activities with other IS areas and other departments. Normally reports to the Information Systems Manager. Requires degree and 5-7 years relevant experience, including supervisory experience.


Data Entry Operator - Senior 
Enters and verifies a variety of data in appropriate formats. Tracks and verifies quality of data entry from all sources. Resolves problems regarding the data. Can train inexperienced operators and prioritize assignments. This is a senior level position usually requiring 2-3 years of data entry experience.

Data Entry Supervisor 
Supervises and monitors the quality of the data entry process. Resolves data integrity issues and coordinates with other areas of IS. Requires high school diploma and 3-5 years relevant experience, or equivalent.

Help Desk Specialist 
Responds to inquiries and requests for assistance with the organization's computer systems or PC's. Identifies problems, troubleshoots and provides advice to assist users. Coordinates with other IS areas to resolve problems if necessary. May operate in a mainframe and/or microcomputer environment. Requires 2 years relevant computer experience.


Information Systems Manager/Director 
Directs IS operations including computer operations, technical support, systems analysis and programming. May also direct database management, telecommunications, IS training and microcomputer technology. Establishes technical priorities, standards, and procedures. Ensures sufficient systems capacity for organizational needs. Typically reports to the Chief Operating Officer in large companies and the Chief Executive Officer in medium sized companies. Requires an MIS degree and 6 or more years of experience.

Network Administrator 
Installs, configures, and maintains the organization's LAN server and workstations. Manages performance and maintains security of LANS. Works with multiple hardware and software platforms at an intermediate level. Requires 2-4 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.

Network Administrator - Senior 
Installs, configures, and maintains the organization's LAN server and workstations. Acts as primary organizational interface with vendor and provides internal analysis and support. Manages performance of a multiple hardware and software platform interface at the most complex level. Reports to an IS Operations Manager. Requires BS degree or equivalent technical training and 2-3 years relevant experience.


Network Systems Manager 
Manages the acquisition, installation, and maintenance of the organization's local area networks and wide area networks. Analyzes products and recommends use of new products and services to senior management. Manages LAN/WAN performance and security. Establishes and implements policies and procedures for LAN/WAN usage throughout the organization. May manage only LAN or WAN area. Typically reports to an IS executive. Typically requires BS degree and 4-5 years relevant experience, or equivalent.

Network Systems Technician 
Monitors reliability of network infrastructure and operating systems on multiple platforms. Diagnoses and repairs problems. Usually requires a 2 year degree and 2-4 years relevant experience, or equivalent.


Programmer - Senior 
Prepares specifications and programs of a highly technical or complex nature. Assists Systems Analysts/Programmers with application or technical problems. Senior level position requiring advanced technical knowledge in all areas of applications programming, system design, and update, storage, and retrieval methods. Usually requires at least 2-4 years programming experience.

Programmer/Analyst 
Analyzes user specifications and requirements. Encodes, tests, debugs, and documents programs on moderately complex projects. May assist the Sr. Programmer/Analyst on large, complex projects. Usually requires 2-4 years relevant professional experience or equivalent education.

Programmer/Analyst - Senior 
Analyzes user specifications and requirements. Encodes, tests, debugs, and documents programs on large-scale, complex projects. Revises and updates programs and documentation as required. Usually requires 4-6 years relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Systems Analyst - Senior 
Designs, implements, analyzes, and modifies systems for various applications. Works with users to define system requirements and resolve problems. May supervise programmers and manage small projects. This is a senior level position usually requiring a 4 year degree and a minimum of 4-6 years experience in systems analysis.
