Job Responsibilities
Seeking an experienced, creative, and multi-talented Senior PHP Web Designer to lead and execute our brand's creative direction. One must have the ability to grow within a start-up environment and a fast-paced medium.
As a PHP Web Designer, you will be required to:
* A minimum of 3 years of web development experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
* Must possess a strong understanding of web design, information architecture and user experience design, and web technologies.
* Visualize concepts quickly and cleanly through sketching and other rapid prototyping methods.
* Good knowledge of CMS tools like Wordpress, Joomla and other CMS systems.
* Good application development experience AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, PHP, MYSQL, and W3C Standards.
* Participate in collaborative design and project planning sessions
* Understand business and user goals / understand technical considerations with the assistance of others on the technology team.
* Utilize computer software programs (i.e. emails) to track client information and activities.

* Experience in converting user requirements into design
* Ability to develop Ajax web applications
* Skills needed for working with and parsing XML/JSON/GET/POST in PHP 3-5 years web designing experience (including PHP web development).
* Web typography, and grid
* HTML, CSS, debug tools such as Firebug.
* Working knowledge of JavaScript and PHP
* Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and prioritize time.
* Comfortable working with team members at all levels, including senior management.
* Familiar with a major web analytics vendor such as Omniture, Hitbox, Coremetrics or Webtrends to drive marketing decision making.
* Good knowledge of CMS tools like Wordpress or Joomla is must.
