1- To provide technical support to telephone and email requests from users for all PC hardware, software and associated peripherals.
2- To install and configure operating systems to agreed standards under the direction of the Manager IT Operations.
3- To maintain the existing PCs and peripherals to standards determined by the Manager IT Operations, by performing upgrades, new installations and carrying out routine procedures.
4- To maintain & troubleshoot CCTV network wired/wireless.
5- To help staff & clients in routine work like email, MS office & other trusted applications.
6-To troubleshoot systems & network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults. 6- To replacement the parts as required.
7- To support the roll-out of new applications.
8- To work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
9- To assist in the compilation and maintenance of an accurate inventory of hardware and software.
10-Review entire infrastructure to identify single point of failures and provide recommendation to enable redundancy.
11- To provide at all times a professional, courteous and rapid response to individual users.
12- To undertake such other work as may be assigned which is consistent with the nature of the job and its level of responsibility.
13- To develop and maintain active and progressive working relationships with all staff members & clients as well if posted on a project site.
14- To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job.
* Ability to install & administrate PCs, hardware, software & wired or wireless networks in active directory & proxy environment.
* Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
* Experienced in MS Windows 2003, XP, Vista, 7. LAN, WAN, Internet, Load Balancing, Active Directoy, Wireless & wired network, Hardware & software troubleshooting, MS office suites, Internet, Emailing, MS Isa 2000, 2004 & 2006, File server, MS Sql 2005, NT Web Server, FTP, CCTV.
* Can manage a number of tasks at one time, The incumbent may find the environment to be busy, noisy and will need excellent organizational, time and stress management skills to complete the required tasks.
* Able to travel frequently.
* Also be able work in late hours.
