Job Description:
Provide technical support and assistance to desktop/local/remote network support to LAN users in Lahore and US staff.
Responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting computer communication networks within an organization.
Installation of operating system, application and hardware in workstations & also in local servers. (MS Windows 7/Vista/XP/2003/2008)
General trouble shoots skills for OS / Applications.
Monitor local infrastructure through NMS and Graphing systems.
Contact with hardware vendor/seller.
Issuance of CDs/Multimedia/Conference calls equipment to software and other dept, keeping record of issuance/return activities in file or in share point portal.
Maintain corporate domain controllers, firewalls, VPN clients, file servers, DNS servers, Print server, ticketing server.
Domain login/email account setup for new users.
TCP/IP Basic Concepts Application Protocols such as FTP, DNS, RIS Basic knowledge of how Wireless Access Points work Proactive monitoring of infrastructures to identify and resolve issues before downtime occurs.
Repairing/Servicing Network Printers.
Repairing/Servicing UPS. Manage organization’s internal Help desk system and keep the Logs of Hardware and software problems.
Respond to employees inquiries.
Identify and resolve routine operational systems problems.
Troubleshoot networks and systems.
Skills Required:
* Excellent verbal English language skills.
* CCNA certified Following certifications will be plus point for this position.
* CCSP certified Should have good knowledge of following Cisco ASA 5500 series Cisco IDS/IPS VPN Security
