Job Description/ Responsibilities | Job Title: CR Manager Basic Purpose and Objective of the Job To be responsible for the development of client business and for handling projects from preparation of proposals to client through to final tabulations and/or reports/presentations. Principal Accountabilities • Assisting in the overall business development of the CR department • Providing advice/consultation for clients as required • Preparation of proposals based on initial client brief. • Design and preparation of survey questionnaires for quantitative research. • Design and preparation of recruitment questionnaires for qualitative research. • Timely preparation and organization of relevant materials to be given to field department to enable them to conduct fieldwork to the required standard and deadlines. • Preparation of fieldwork instructions for Field Managers, including sample structure and methodology. • Development of Discussion Guide for qualitative Focus Group Discussions. • Preparation of coding and punching instructions/resolution of any queries arising from preparation of code frames for quantitative research. • Liaison with Field Coordinators re progress of fieldwork. • Design of tabulation specifications and liaison with Data Analyst re preparation and checking of validation programmes. • Checking of initial hole counts/checking tabulations and preparation of final tabular report. • Preparation of methodology/fieldwork statistics for final tabular report. • Preparation of Summary Reports as required. • Preparation of written, interpretative Report as required. • Presentation of results to clients as required. • Dispatch of tabulations/reports to clients via email/DHL as appropriate. Performance Standards Contribution towards achievement of CR revenue target. Contribution towards achievement of operating income target. Accurate questionnaire development - i.e. no wording/filter errors Timely and accurate fieldwork instructions to be sent to local offices Clear coding instructions to be sent to local offices in good time Timely and accurate preparation of tabulations/reports to client specifications. Speedy response (2 working days) to specific client queries on tabulations/reports. Speedy response (3 working days) to requests for proposals. Knowledge and Skills Required Essential: • MBA • Up to 5-6 years working experience in Market Research • Strong analytical mind • Good organizational skills • Excellent verbal & written communication skills ( English) • Expertise in servicing customers and in-depth knowledge on CR methods, analysis and techniques • Business acumen and good knowledge of the market dynamics • Excellent team management • Computer Literate • Knowledge of Arabic would be an added advantage |
