Job Description:
Unique, career-changing opportunity for a Regional Sales Director to assist with product launch, including strategy and implementation of market plans. The Director will also plan and build a field force, and will shift to providing leadership and direction at the regional level.
The Director will be instrumental in building a core team dedicated to success within the community. Initial responsibilities will include the implementation of a “go-to-market” model and the designing of a novel sales force strategy. In addition, the Director will be responsible for the successful execution of a new product launch and driving business initiatives through the design and implementation of regional business strategies.
After the initial development stage, this role will shift to a regional leadership position. The Director will then reside in the appropriate geographical area and be responsible for hiring his/her regional sales team. He/She will provide strong leadership and direction to maximize the business opportunities in the region and work collaboratively with other key functions to address the needs of the customers in the region.

Skills Required:
Plans, directs, implements, and oversees policies and activities for Sales Representatives for a specific geographical region. Effectively execute sales force strategies and marketing plans. Foster innovation and breakthrough thinking in sales approaches and practices. Identify regional specific opportunities and barriers to ensure corporate success. Work closely with targeted key customers to foster relationships and grow the business. Exercise sound judgment and ensure integrity and corporate compliance in all activities and communications. Review and analyze key reports to assure quarterly and annual objectives are met. Continuously review, evaluate and make recommendations on healthcare professionals/patient strategies. Monitor and control field expenses at the regional level. Counsel, motivate, and coach sales team. Responsible for field staff operating within corporate PhRMA and OIG guidelines. Make recommendations to senior management regarding field structure and patient strategies. Attend and participate in meetings as requested by management. Provide assistance in recruiting and training as needed.
