Assistant Manager Core Planning
      
Overview     AM Core Planning is responsible for the planning of the core network nodes. Major responsibilities includes development of short term and long term plans, capital budgeting and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Reports To     Manager Core Planning;

Work Location     Islamabad

Experience Required

Minimum 5 years of experience in the relevant field of :
•Core network planning principles and design techniques
•R4 architecture and next generation networks
•Packet core planning and data services
•Capital budgeting and financial evaluations
•Understanding of KPIs and Licensing of Core network nodes.
•Knowledge of evolution to 3G
•Project management & Negotiation skills
•Core network planning team management
Key Responsibilities  :

Planning of core network nodes based on the commercial forecast for CS & PS domain.
Assist in development and update of capital budgeting plans on quarterly basis for core network
Coordinate with marketing for introduction of new services and features.
Coordinate with vendor for resolution of day to day planning issues.
Participate in development of short term and long term network plans in line with the company strategy and goals.
Supervise development of numbering plans, routing plans and capacity analysis reports
RFQ preparation, contract evaluation and negotiation.
Supervise projects with a proper project management methodology and follow up from planning to execution stage.
Develop Project Management, Communication and Team Building Skills of Core Planning Section.
 
Education/Professional Qualification:

Bachelor’s Electrical/Telecom Engineering (Minimum)
Master’s Electrical/Telecom
