Assistant Manager RF Optimization
      
Overview     To perform RF network Optimization activities to achieve required Grade of Service and Quality of Service in the region.
Reports To     Regional Manager RF Planning & Optimization.;
Work Location     Karachi
Experience Required     Sound Knowledge of GSM/GPRS/EDGE architecture of more than 4 years
Key Responsibilities

Network KPI target achievements. TP Network is distributed in four categories (U/SU/Remote/Extremely remote) and for each category target value of basic KPIs ( CSSR, DCR, MPD, HOSR) already set by TP management. Being a part of optimization team, achievements of targets using smart optimization techniques which includes: hard & soft optimization, frequency plan tuning, neighbour audit.
Development of procedures & strategies of every single task of optimization.
Management of drive testing teams to identify/solve bad quality patches.
Solve the list of the cells that sent by performance monitoring team & generated internally
Perform initial tuning of new site integration to avoid quality issues due to new site integration and corresponding optimization of neighbouring sites ( Neighbour audit, traffic balance, database audit, frequency plan check).
Customer service complaints follow ups.
Smart tools development for optimization which minimize the fault identification & rectification time.
Network overview report/RF daily/weekly/Monthly basis to highlight main issues
Generate the Top Worst cells( CSSR, DCR, MPD, SDCCHDR and HOSR ) and passes the list to Quality Improvement team with accurate analysis & recommendations.
Prepare the reports as per the TP requirements
Update the tools by provided latest DB.
Network Quality related stats monitoring (TA, IDLE TS measurements, correlation of RXQUAL, RXLEV & TA)
Perform required analysis by segregate the problems into either is hardware, RF or other reasons.
Escalate the list of the cells with hardware problem and follow up with operation team and vendor for all the hardware related problems
Passes the list of the cells that the degradation is due to RF problems to Quality Improvement team
New feature testing for quality improvement purpose
GPRS/ EDGE optimization
Network BSS parameter update/ audit
