Job Description/
Responsibilities
1. To oversee all the operations of the garage, and to ensure the timely repair and periodic maintenance of company vehicles.
2. To arrange for providing tools, spares, lubricants and required mechanics for the smooth functioning of the garage.
3. To maintain minimum inventory of critical spares, crosscheck with the records and mechanics that each and every vehicle of the company is serviced, checked, and painted at the planned schedule /job card.
4. To ensure that corrective and preventive maintenance of vehicles are done as per the plan.
5. Plan and allot jobs for mechanics, allotment of leave, maintain attendance and leave records.
6. Record the distance covered by vehicles in the companys ‘own a car scheme’ every month.
7. Ensure that periodic water service for all vehicles are done on regular basis as per planning.
8. To identify distributors and retailers to spares having a higher life and comparable cost and negotiate to keep the cost at a minimum.
9. Prepare quotes / bills of any spares, parts, machineries, tools, lubricants purchased and to update the Administration and Accounts Manager of the estimated cost.
10. To maintain records of the cost of spare part and repair cost of each vehicle and to submit it, to the Admin. Manager at the end of the month.
11. To oversee and get all the construction activities related to the camp or company assets, done as planned and as per schedule
12. To inform the renewal, registration and insurance of vehicles well in advance and coordinate to get these done in time.
13. To coordinate with camp boss for any other activities related to the camp.
 
Candidate Requirement

Profile Dip. in Automobile Engineering, with thorough knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance
Languges: English, Hindi, Telgu, Malyalam, Tamil Knowledge of Arabic will be plus point.
Experience 3 - 7 years
Education Basic - Secondary School
Nationality Indian
