Key Responsibilities & Duties
· Responsible for development of youth career development framework:
o Develop linkages with various corporate and public sector organizations for possibilities of internship for course students.
o Advises and counsels students regarding career selection, job searches and internships.
o Assists students with search techniques, resume preparation, interviewing strategies, networking and recruiting schedules.
o Conducts workshops and seminars concerning career preparation, interview skills, job search techniques, job readiness techniques, labor market information, and vocational information.
o Assists students in the development of career plans
o Develops procedures for student profiling and for development of student intern document
o Develop linkages with various institutions focusing on youth leadership and career development
o Meeting with the youth to evaluate their career goals and expectations.
- Outlining and establishing a personal development plan for each student to help them obtain their career goals.
- Masters degree in Business Administration, Counseling, Youth Development, Social Sciences or in an applicable subject area
- At least 3-4 years of experience in the relevant field.
· Advance knowledge of office related software (Microsoft Office, Internet and E-mail)
· Proficiency in English language; good writing and speaking ability (including report writing and oral presentations)
· Professional and personal traits;
· Good listener, Creative thinker, Decision maker, Problem solver, Undertakes Responsibility, Team worker
