International, LLC is announcing call for resumes for lending expert
(for banks and for microfinance institutions) as part of a USAID
project. Experienced lenders are sought for a 5-year project to
facilitate banking and micro-lending in poor areas. Positions to be
filled are based in Pakistan, with work to be conducted in the Peshawar
and FATA areas.
Consultants will have the following primary responsibilities:
• Design, assess and launch lending operations with local lending partners; • Support financial institutions securing funds for on-lending from donors or multilateral banks; • Manage loans and create credit history-based lending; •
Design lending products based on customer needs, establish new lending
operations and perform business development initiatives; • Enhance lending practices, structures, linkages, create and implement micro-credit lending technologies; • Conduct financial sector studies and evaluate financial institutions; • Identify financial opportunities for consultants to assist clients; • Develop and implement recommendations to financial institutions for improvement of procedures; • Collaborate with partner banks and government authorities; • Train client consulting staff and loan officers of partner banks; • Provide consultancy in financial analysis and business planning.
Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Finance with an emphasis
in Accounting, Economics, Finance and / or International Business
Finance and International Business; • Excellent knowledge of lending and finance principles; • Minimum of 5 years experience, preferably SME or micro lending experience; • Good English written and oral communication skills; • Ability to work independently.
