PROPERTY & LIABILITY TAKAFUL MANAGER Responsibilities: • Responsible for the day-to-day management, underwriting and operations of property and liability line of business • Responsible for new products development and documentation for the line of business • Lead the team in establishing the best of class service quality, processes, system and procedures • Liaise with specialists such as surveyors, engineers and retakaful underwriters for risk evaluation and analysis • Develop sound underwriting guidelines and constantly review it to keep up with market changes • Ensure all procedures and underwriting guidelines are fully adhered to by supporting staff • Support sales team in securing and managing large accounts • Provide technical advice to sales team and branches relating to risk assessment for the line of business • Ensure profitability of property and liability line of business Qualification Requirements: • Posses at least a university degree in actuarial science, business management, insurance or other similar qualifications • Minimum 10 years relevant working experience in operations of insurance and at least 3 years experience in takaful • Sound knowledge of general insurance/takaful products and risks assessment • Strong organizational ability and good leadership skills • Self motivated and committed • Background in engineering is preferred Preference would be given to UAE nationality holders. |
