SENIOR GEOLOGIST
Eni
Pakistan Limited is an oil and gas exploration and production company.
It is part of the Eni S.p.A. and is the operator of the Bhit and
Kadanwari Gas Fields and many other on-shore and off-shore exploration
licences.
To support the Company's aggressive exploration in
Pakistan, we are looking for a self-motivated candidate having
following qualifications and experience to fill the position of Senior
Geologist at our Karachi office.
THE JOB
To recommend
technically and economically attractive exploration opportunities in
Pakistan by providing G&G input and in consultation with Company's
petroleum & reservoir engineers and commercial staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
M.Sc
in Geology preferably from a renowned foreign university. Good
understanding of structural / basin geology. Sound understanding of
economic evaluation of exploration project. Basic seismic
interpretation skill.
EXPERIENCE
10 years experience of
working in the oil & gas sector in exploration projects in a
variety of geological / tectonic settings and hydrocarbon provinces.
Capable of initiating and executing G&G work programme with minimum supervision and support.
Capable of initiating and executing technical and economical evaluation of exploration project.
Hands-on experience of workstations and PC based technical applications.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills along with proficiency in written and spoken English.
