Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) is establishing
Common Facility Centers (CFCs) to upgrade targeted technologies,
produce trained human resources, develop skills, set-up testing &
inspection services as well as process/technology related services for
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
A Project Monitoring Unit (PMU)
is being set up to manage and run the projects. We are looking for
intelligent and motivated individuals for following positions in PMU
TEAM LEADER PROJECTS
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop a project plan that directs the work of the team over the length of the project
* Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and monthly status reports
* Direct and coordinate activities of project to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
* Produce agreed deliverables to quality standards, schedules and budgets
* Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
* Preparing internal management reports on projects undertaken/implemented for senior management
* Monitor the overall progress of project in terms of milestones and time-lines achieved
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
The
candidate should be B.E /M.E Mechanical/Electrical/Civil from a
recognized university with 3 - 5 years of experience in the similar
capacity.
TEAM LEADER ACCOUNTS
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Plan, direct and accounting activities of the projects
* Responsible for budgeting and ongoing monitoring of all the financial accounting activities of the project.
*
Responsible for ail basic accounting activities such as bill passing,
accounts reconciliation, making book keeping entries in respective
ledgers. ,
* Prepare and manage the monthly/annual income and expense accounts of the project.
*
Recommend and maintain processes to ensure that proper accounting
procedures exist and are followed to maintain the integrity of
financial data.
* Ensure regulatory and audit compliance.
* Prepare, analyze and submit accounting reports to GoP, ADB, TUSDEC and related appropriate authorities.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
The
candidate should be CA (Finalist)/ACCA or equivalent from recognized
university with minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience.
TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Carry out comprehensive research of different sectors requiring technology up-gradation.
* Technology gap-analysis of key industrial sectors.
* Identifying the need/opportunities for technology up-gradation.
* Identifying the targeted clusters that require technical assistance and prioritize their technological needs.
* Prepare PC-1 and related documents for financing.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
The
candidate should be B.E/M.E in Engineering/Applied Sciences, preference
will be given to person with Masters Degree \n Business Administration
from reputable Pakistani or foreign University with 3 - 5 years of
experience in a similar capacity
PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies to determine product availability and terms of sales.
* Solicit, review and analyze proposal, quotation and submissions and recommend selection,
* Prepare, process and review requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
* Negotiate purchases to ensure cost effectiveness with standards of quality and character of goods and services required.
* Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
* Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies and procedures.
* Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
The
candidate should be Bachelor/Masters in Social Sciences or BBA/MBA or
equivalent from a recognized university with 5 years of experience in a
similar capacity
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist in construction feasibility evaluations, planning and contracting of the projects.
* Provide support for preparation, monitoring and updating of project budget and schedules.
* Prepare and evaluate bid packages and negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors.
* Monitor contract requirements for compliance and review pay requests from vendors and contractors.
* Oversee the construction field staff and activities occurring at the construction sites.
* Clarify and resolve engineering related issues and provide construction issue support for other departments.
* Monitor overall progress of the project.
* Prepare, analyze and submit reports regarding progress of the project to related authorities.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
The
candidate should be B.E/M.E Civil or equivalent from a recognized
university with 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
