Job Overview

Trainer (Vehicle Systems) is responsible for the effective training of Aftersales staff on specific vehicle systems in conjunction with complete product training and new technologies carried out by the Assistant Trainers


• Co-ordinates internal training through the respective Heads of Department and Aftersales staff

• Co-ordinates external training through the respective Heads of Department and Administrative Assistant (Training)

• Carries out instructional (face to face) training courses for all Aftersales staff

• Ensures that all Aftersales staff have complete self-study programs as required by the franchise principals

• Ensures Aftersales staff are kept up to date with current and new technology (vehicle systems)

• Carries out Advanced Diagnostics training courses for Aftersales staff

• Ensures Aftersales staff are kept up to date with current and new technology (diagnostics)

• Ensures Aftersales staff are kept up to date with technical information systems (TIS)

• Ensures Aftersales staff are kept up to date with current and new vehicle programming procedures

• Monitors the training progress of all Aftersales staff in conjunction with the Assistant Trainers

• Maintains an individual training record for all Aftersales staff in conjunction with the Administrative Assistant (Training)

• Produces an annual training plan for all Aftersales staff in conjunction with the Assistant Trainers

• Carries out training for Sales staff as advised by the Training & Technical Manager

• Provides technical assistance to the respective departments as required

• Attends manufacturers external training as required

• Reports all training concerns to the Training & Technical Manager

Skills

- Minimum of 2 years experience as technical training in any Automotive Industry
- Preferably Mechanical Engineering Graduate or any related courses
- Experience with the same brand is an advantage
- PowerPoint Presentation skills is a must
- Excellent English communication skills is a must
- Young, dynamic, enthusiastic
