Job Description:
A leading international laboratory group is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to work in its Environment division; located in Saudi Arabia.
The successful applicant will become a part of a team that strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results on time and by maintaining strong relationships with their clients.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate suitability for the position, ideally meeting the following criterion:
* 3-5 years experience in a Business Development role; preferably within the science industry.
* A sound knowledge of Environmental Analytical Chemistry.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Tertiary Qualifications in Science (preferably Chemistry or Environmental Science).
· Literacy in the use of MS Office Products (Word, Excel).
* Dedicated focus to exceeding customer expectations.We are specifically seeking a highly motivated individual with well-developed communication, analytical and practical problem solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritise demanding workloads.
Skills Required:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assist in the assessment of present and future needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities.
* Preparation of quotations and tenders; including punctual follow up.
* Building a profile and gaining credibility in the Environmental analysis market.
* Assessing local and regional business opportunities and providing advice to Senior Management.
* Promoting a professional image to clients and the market in general.
* Actively maintain industry and market competitor knowledge.
* Foster a working environment that aims to increase productivity and efficiency through equipment upgrading, method enhancements, or new technologies
This is a permanent full-time position with a salary commensurate based upon skills and qualifications. Along with the professional development opportunities this role presents, this is a unique role for self motivated and entrepreneurial individual.
