| Job Description/ Responsibilities | Translate customer observations and needs into executable projects to improve customer's business performance; Ability to work effectively with personnel from production & manufacturing sites as well as other technology groups within Shell; You will be working as part of the Multiphase Flow team, running a variety of projects, including the design and supply of equipment for liquids management and the dynamic aspects of the thermal-hydraulic design of pipelines for all of our customers. |
| Candidate Requirement |

| Profile | PhD study in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, possibly followed by several years of working experience; Experience in Multiphase flow and heat transfer, physical and numerical modeling, fluid flow system analysis and design. Strong foundation in fluid mechanics, especially modeling and simulation, and preferably also experimental techniques; Application of simulation tools to design multiphase flow pipeline systems. Design/troubleshoot process equiptment using fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer principles; Define technical service projects with senior technologist and execute to meet customer requirements. Define and execute R&D projects; Pro-active & innovative in applying own and team members' technical skills to solve customers' problems. Ability to define & negotiate deliverables and timing for complex (deep and/or broad) projects. Work independently and take ownership of assigned work; Authorisation to work in India is required for this position; |
