| Job Description/ Responsibilities | As one of our Reliability Modeling & Dynamic Simulation Engineers, you will ultimately lead a team of two to three Rotating Equipment Engineering Specialists responsible for sophisticated technologies. You need to have or be willing and able to develop expertise in Reliability Modeling utilizing TARO Software, as well as to have or be willing and able to develop expertise in Dynamic Simulation utilizing Hysys and/or UNISIM; You will need to understand the function of the software from basic principles to enable the modeling of complex systems ranging from individual machinery or instrumentation systems to complete process units, utility systems, complete process control systems, or even complete manufacturing sites. You will be required to cultivate customers and maintain customer relations in support of commercialization efforts. Customers may be part of the Shell Group or un-related third party commercial customers; You will also be required to cultivate and maintain a network of contacts outside our companies in the technical community of peers and among the manufacturing community that supplies us. |

| Profile | To be considered for this position, you must possess Masters or Doctor of Philosophy Degree in a field closely related to process engineering or machinery dynamics and a B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering with have at least 10 years’ experience working with process systems. You must possess a background and expertise to allow development into an expert in dynamic simulation using programs such as Hysys and expertise to allow development into an expert on reliability analysis modeling. Key attributes of target candidate include:· Proficiency in application of Microsoft Office Software; Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; Ability to apply and lead in the application of structured problem solving and analysis methodologies; Ability to apply systems thinking; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Must be able to work and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization, from the board operator and machinist to plant manager. · Strong mentoring, teaching skills; This individual will train and develop subordinates in responsible technology areas; Ability to operate as a consultant without specific authority but with a responsibility to identify needed action and get it implemented; Must have the appropriate skill to sell their work; Fluent written and verbal English is essential, you should have excellent presentation and communication skills; Authorisation to work in India is required for this position; A remuneration package based on the conditions in the country of employment will be offered for this position. |
