| Job Description/ Responsibilities | As a member of the department and working as a member of the process technology team, you'll be delivering technical support to Shell's EO/EG business and manufacturing sites, giving support to plant start-ups, and handling technical questions from customers. Your activities will include: To propose and carry out R&D projects to develop new and improved technology for EO/EG manufacturing; To support Shell manufacturing sites to employ the most economic, safe and environmentally friendly processes; To support the EO/EG business unit with technical advice in the area of Health/Safety/Environment, intellectual property, competitive intelligence and manufacturing economics; To deliver ever improving process design packages for Shell investment projects and for non-Shell process licensing projects; To provide process and start-up support to the non-Shell licensing business; Work with Shell engineering disciplines; Contact customers on process technology issues; Mentoring of young inexperienced colleagues. |

| Profile | As an experienced process engineer or technologist with at least five years' experience in petrochemical manufacturing, you'll have process engineering, process simulation, process safety, and technology skills; Preferably experience in Ethylene Oxide/Ethylene Glycol technology; Ability to work with teams of diverse background; Involvement in third party exposure; Authorisation to work in India is required for this position; A remuneration package based on the conditions in the country of employment will be offered for this position. |
