Job Description:
Assists Departmental Manager to plan, develop and implement standard procurement policies and strategies for all imported raw & packing materials to ensure smooth functioning of the division.
Procurement plan for all imported raw & packing materials based on tender awarded and normal & revised/additional sales forecast generated by marketing division.
Prepare yearly raw materials consumption, procurement & expenditure budget and variance analysis on monthly basis.
Supervise and check stock position of the raw and packing materials on the basis of present stock and market demand so that there is no under stock or over stock.
Obtain, check and finalize comparative statement of quotations for imported raw materials based on collected price offers and obtain approval thereon in consultation with the concerned authority.
Monitor and continuous follow up with the suppliers for shipment of materials in due time.
Supervise direct purchase from the local market & total activities of import.
Keeping and reviewing of different types of quality records, ensure proper maintenance & safety on record keeping, follow up of non conforming reports, disposal of quality records.
