Job Description/
Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing and implementing purchasing Strategies. ·Responsible for procurement of Raw Materials (excluding Non – Ferrous Metals) in line with Company policies. ·Ensuring un-interrupt flow of Raw Materials to meet Manufacturing requirement in all times. ·Devising and implementing new process / procedures to ensure the most economical and efficient levels of inventories in all times. ·Developing new Material suppliers with consultation of Technical and Manufacturing experts, to ensure cost effective and improvement in procurement capabilities. ·To report and effectively communicate in a timely manner issues occurring within the department to those who need to know, thereby enabling them to effectively carry out their own duties. ·Overall responsible for all Operational matters of Purchasing Department.
 
Candidate Requirement
 
Profile · Graduate, preferably with Business Management or Materials Management, with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Materials Purchasing · Excellent Negotiator · Good Product / Shop floor process knowledge · Excellent Market Knowledge of Raw Materials · Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. · Thorough knowledge of ERP System · Knowledge of Problem Solving techniques · Analytical Skills · Fluency in written and spoken English essential, other languages an advantage.
