Responsibilities
Job Specification: High level of skill and appropriate certification in office management systems- certificate in shorthand, tying and MS-Office and applications. Graduate with excellent command of English. Additional language skills will be advantage. Pleasing personality and ability to work calmly under stress. Age 28 - 35 yrs. 3 - 5 yrs in similar position. Key Responsibilities: Duties are illustrative and not exclusive. Individual assignments may vary. Perform the entire gamut of executive secretatial and administrative duties as required by daily operations office. Coordinate office activities and schedules; develop and recommend office procedures and systems; ensure smooth office operations. Devising and maintaining office systems to deal effeciently with paper flow, organizing systems for storage of information and documents for easy access, review and confidentiality. Recieve incoming mail; review and evaluate mail to identify those items required priority attention. Independently respond to letters and general correspondence of a routine nature. Make travel arrangements, maintain appointment schedules and calenders, arrange meetings and conferences. Co-ordinate and assist in the maintenance and accountability of personnel, facilities and resources. Gathering information and statics relating to current and new businesses and investments, in Oman through market research. Carrying out background research into search into subjects as required. Review and summarize reports and documents; preperation of background documents when necessary and make presentations that facilitate quick comprehension and decision making. Assisting in the acquisition of databases at instruction. Co-ordinate in the conduct af all social and commercial functions. Remuneration: CTC of RO500 - 550 inclusive of Single status (sharing) accomodation will be provided. Transport or transport allowance will be given. Medical reimbursements on actuals -- exclusive of chronic, debilitation, pregnancy related, dental and opthalmic will be made. Initial contract will be for a period of 2 years from the date of joining and will be subject to probation as defined below. At the end of the initial period the contract will be automatically renewed unless agreed in writing to the contrary. Econamy class one way or return joining ticket every 2 years as appropriate. 15 Days leave for each year of completed service. For joining, the cost of Air Ticket to Muscat will be borne by the sucessful applicant. Gratuity as per Omani Laws.
