* We have an open position for a Senior Business Analyst. Job Responsibilities include the following:
* To elicit clear, concise, non-conflicting requirements from the Subject Matter Experts who may or may not understand how technology can be used to transform the business processes in a positive way.
* To capture, consolidate, and communicate information from Subject Matter Experts to the rest of the development team.
* To develop precise communication that will allow discovery of inner meaning and inconsistency that is essential.
* To identify and resolve conflicting requirements.
* To write business requirements, function specifications, work flows and custom reports for large and/or complex business areas.
* To refine the understanding and communication from the Subject Matter Experts and convert that into the clear, precise vision necessary to create a solution.
* To interact with everyone on a project. This includes people on the development team, as well as people outside the development team.
* Collecting, understanding, and document the business requirements and processes for the project, and translating these into functional pecifications.
* Analyze and document business processes.
* Document work flows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications.
* To provide the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality throughout the development life cycle.
* More than two years of experience in working as Business Analyst or in equivalent role.
* Strong requirements gathering and writing technical and functional specifications.
* Can serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical team members
* Good experience with Microsoft Visio and/or IBM Rational Suite, to define use cases, process flows, and other UML diagrams.
* Capable in applying either formal or client specific methodologies such as Rational Unified Process, SDLC, OOAD, etc.
* Can coordinate and document project/release level user acceptance testing.
* Can prepare and/or present documentation of business/technical presentations.
* Ensure timely and accurate communication with project staff throughout the life cycle of the project.
* Experience researching client and industry-related business/technical processes and coordinating the implementation of new or revised rules and policies.
* Be able to communicate effectively with client in US and have excellent written and communication skills.
* Ability to becoming adept at dealing with differing opinions and conflict.
* Knowledge of BA Body of Knowledge is highly desirable.
* Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP) will be a plus.
