* A leadership position in technology, responsible for developing software architecture and designing scalable, high performance, high availability and fault tolerant mission critical applications.

* Responsible for transforming the requirements created by the Business Analysts into a set of architecture and design documents that can be used by the rest of the team to actually create the solution.

* To facilitates the development team in forming a common understanding of requirements, in coordination with the Business Analyst.

* May act as an internal requirements provider, suggesting enhancements or modifications in software that are necessary to support the technical solution.

* Identifies design patterns and coordinates with Team Leads to maximize code re-usability both within and across multiple products.

* Facilitates development Team Leads in understanding and execution of the envisioned solution.

* Facilitates Team Leads and other development resources in resolution of technical issues.

* Performs impact analysis for software change requests in coordination with Team Leads and relevant team members.

* Validates technical solution upon implementation to ensure that the envisioned solution has been developed as desired.

* Generates and pursues ideas for improvement aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness and maintainability of software products.

* Coordinates with other Software Architects for identification and establishment of company wide best practices in software development.

Strong software architect skills. Envisions technical solutions to meet business requirements and selects the best possible solution under the given constraints and context.

A guru in object oriented design and patterns with proven experience of delivering highly modular, usable and adaptable systems.

Expertise in .NET frameworks with strong abilities to evaluate alternatives.

A degree in software engineering, information systems or related discipline with 3+ years experience, preferably in a similar capacity.

Extensive experience in web application software development.

Experience in leading development teams comprised of very senior Architects and Developers.

Demonstrated experience in building scalable web applications to millions of users.

Demonstrated success working with remote teams.

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a deadline driven environment.

Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team setting.

Excellent written and verbal skills.

Must be able to collaborate and work with a diverse team including third party partners and customers.

Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, both technically and organizationally.

Capable of converting the requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solution being created.

Ability to create consensus and understanding around the architecture.

Stay abreast of the latest technologies, new techniques, patterns, and tools.
