Salary Range: PKR. 40,000 to 80,000/month
Job Description:
This position will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle. You will be responsible for working in a fast-paced, small team environment to analyze, develop, and test software solutions to meet business needs. As a Symbian Developer, you will contribute to the overall design and architecture of the products. You will be responsible for developing device clients for the product line using Symbian C/C++. Responsibilities include end-to-end software development. Specifying, designing and implementing of Symbian applications and systems to meet the needs of project requirements. Unit and integrations testing, defect analysis and resolution. Co-operate closely with the quality assurance group members. Work closely with team members ensuring that the product meets market requirements.
Skills Required
» Bachelor's or Masters (preferred) degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
» 3-5 year software engineering experience. (Preferred in Telecom/Cellular Industry)
» Experience in Series 60, Series 80 or UIQ, developing mobile applications, coding skills in C/C++.
» Complete product development release cycle, and minimum one released mobile application.
» Good Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, UML, Design Patterns.
» Experience on Symbian mobile devices and familiarity with Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) standards and protocols.
» Experience developing and supporting scalable, enterprise grade software systems. Strong concepts on IP Telephony System are essential.
» Must know high level language and its applications such as Symbian SDK, Symbian Runtime Environments, Symbian OS, Soft-phone, SIP protocol & RTP packets, Voice Codecs (e.g. g711, g723, g729) etc.
» Mobile based SIP client product experience a plus.
» Symbian SMS based solution including callback and packets handling plus SMS processing.
» User Interface design using Symbian experience for mobile devices a strong plus.
» Real Time Embedded development on Symbian experience a plus.
» Attention to detail.
