NRSP Microfinance Bank has commenced operations in March 2011. It has been planned to gradually transform the micro credit operations of the country’s largest provider of microfinance services (National Rural Support Programme) into a regulated privately owned microfinance bank. NRSP recognizes several advantages to the microfinance bank status.
